Busy Weekend Happenings and a Fab Fabric Find

We had a fun and busy weekend full of celebrating and graduating. My oldest turned eight and requested a football party (the fact that he picked a sports theme over a character shows me just how BIG he is getting).

If you know me, then you know that I go a little crazy for my kids birthdays, especially with their cakes. There have been many a birthday eve’s that I have stayed up until 3 am or later perfecting their cakes. Luckily this one was one of the easier cakes that I have tackled so that wasn’t necessary!

Sometimes less is more, no?

Then last night my second little guy graduated from preschool! He did a great job in the program and it’s always fun to see how they have grown throughout the year!

Now onto my fab fabric find! I’ve been on the hunt for some fabulous fabric to recover some chair cushions with that will go with this table. (You know, the one I found for a steal?)

I wanted something fun that would add a pop of color to the chairs, but didn’t want anything too out there or crazy. I will be putting the table and chairs up for sale when they are all wrapped up, so I wanted the color to be one that would go with many different styles. I also wanted the fabric to be durable and as easy to clean as possible.

This is what I found and I

Love the pattern.

Love the color.

Love the fact that it’s outdoor fabric, therefore a little more durable.

Love that it’s fun but not crazy.

Love that it was 40% off.

Love everything about it!

I can’t wait to see it all put together. It’s going to be crazy cute!
